Ashley is from Port St. Lucie, a county we serve!! She graduated from St. Lucie West Centennial High School and continued on to Indian River State College. In 2015, Ashley moved to the central Florida area to continue her education in the legal studies field. She received a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida.
Ashley’s began with The Law Office of Erin Morse or our Orlando Divorce Firm in November of 2017 as a receptionist. Since starting with the firm, she has grown so much, moving from receptionist up to paralegal, she recently became a Florida Supreme Court County Certified Mediator and is working towards becoming family certified. Ashley currently is the direct paralegal to Attorney Otero and assists him on all of his cases. Her vast experience gained from her work at the firm as well as her continuing education make her an invaluable team member.
Ashley’s personal experience with divorce and seeing it firsthand sparked her passion for the family law field. As a child of divorce, she was one of the fortunate ones whose parents showed her a great co-parenting relationship. While other relationships around her showed her how difficult and trying to go through a family law issue could be. Her unique experience of seeing both sides of the spectrum really cemented her desire to help families find their new normal. Her parents made her, and her sister feel like having two homes and essentially two new lives was not only ok but normal. Ashley works endlessly each day to assist our clients and their families in achieving this goal.
